How We Collect and Process Your Personal Information#

The Wiki is a statically generated documentation site. We do not offer user accounts, contact forms, comment functions, newsletters, or order processes on the Wiki. The personal information processed when you visit the Wiki is limited to the categories described below.

When you access the Wiki, Cloudflare processes the technical data that your browser transmits with each request — in particular your IP address, date and time of the request, the requested resource, browser type and version, operating system, and referrer URL (server log data). The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest in the secure, reliable, and efficient provision of the Wiki, according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

A data processing contract has been concluded with Cloudflare in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. Insofar as data is transferred to Cloudflare in the USA (third country), an appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed due to Cloudflare’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

Embedded Functions and Content#

We may incorporate functional and content elements into the Wiki that are obtained from servers of their respective providers (hereinafter referred to as “third-party providers”). These can be graphics, videos or social media buttons as well as posts (hereinafter uniformly referred to as “content”), according to Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. The integration always presupposes that the third-party providers of this content process the IP address of the user, since without the IP address they would not be able to send the content to their browser. The IP address is therefore required for the display of the content or functions. We strive to only use content whose respective providers only use the IP address to deliver the content. Third-party providers can also use pixel tags (invisible graphics, also known as “web beacons”) for statistical or marketing purposes. The “pixel tags” can be used to evaluate information such as visitor traffic on the pages of this website. The pseudonymous information can also be stored in cookies on the user’s device and contain, among other things, technical information on the browser and operating system, the websites to be referred to, the time of visit and other information on the use of our online service, as well as being linked to such information from other sources.

We embed YouTube videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com). In this mode, YouTube does not store cookies on your device for personalized advertising when the page loads; data is transmitted to YouTube when you start playback of a video.

In the case of Google, the information generated by the cookie is transferred to a Google server in the USA (third country) and stored there. Google may use this data for its own purposes and link it to other data records, e.g. your search history or personal accounts known to Google. We have no influence whatsoever on this data processing. The data processing is essentially carried out by Google. An appropriate level of data protection is guaranteed for the transfer to the USA due to Google’s certification under the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework.

E-Mail Contact#

If you contact us by e-mail, we process the personal information you choose to include in your communication (e.g., your e-mail address and the content of your message) in order to respond to you. This is in our legitimate interests in order to be responsive to you, according to Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.

Cookies and Local Storage#

The Wiki itself does not set any tracking or analytics cookies.

Your display preferences (e.g., light/dark theme and the state of the navigation sidebar) are stored locally in your browser’s local storage. This information remains on your device and is not transmitted to us.
